§ Welcome

A school named for
Dr. Marjorie H Dunbar.

.S. 126X, The Dr. Marjorie H Dunbar School, has raised scholars in the Bronx for over seventy years — a neighborhood public elementary rooted in creativity, care, and community.

We serve over five hundred students from 3K through 5th grade across twenty-five dedicated teachers. Our families speak many languages; our classrooms stretch to meet them. Residencies in the arts, reading, and social-emotional learning bring the outside world in — and the ROAR values send our scholars confidently out.
